Rhinos have been endangered in Africa for a very long time. They are becoming endangered because of poaching, habitat loss, and conflicts with humans. They are being hunted for their strong horns. The people are cutting down the trees in their habitat to make useful things for themselves. Some are being put in zoos for people's amusement. We can help them get through this deadly crisis. We need to help them recover from what happened to them.

Pandas
Pandas are becoming endangered because of poaching and habitat loss. Their population is dropping faster and faster by the minute. They live in China and all over Eastern Asia and they usually don't get in conflicts with humans. They have been becoming endangered because people cut down the forest for useful things to use. The people don't know that they are destroying an entire population of pandas in the world. We need to help them recover.
Tasmanian Devils
Tasmanian Devils have been endangered for a long long time, and no I am not talking about the looney tunes one, I am talking about the real one. They get their name because they are like monsters that live in Tasmania, Australia. They are becoming endangered because of poaching, habitat loss, and conflicts with humans. Tasmanian Devils are also strong predators that hunt in the outback to capture their food and have a pleasant meal.

Spider Monkeys
Spider monkeys have long arms and legs and long prehensile tails, which means they can wrap them around branches to help them move around in the trees . The International Union for the Conservation of Nature lists 9 species of spider monkey, it lists 3 species as Critically Endangered; 5 species as Endangered, and 1 species is Vulnerable. The two major threats to spider monkeys are habitat loss and hunting by humans.
Spider monkey habitat loss is mainly caused by timber harvesting in the rain forests, as well as the clearing of forests to make way for agriculture.

Bald Eagles
Good News! Many people don't realize that our national bird, the American bald eagle, is no longer endangered.
On June 28, 2007 the Interior Department took the American bald eagle off the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants. The bald eagle will still be protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. Today, there are an estimated 9,789 nesting pairs of bald eagles.

Tigers
Tigers are just one of the endangered species in the world. They are losing their habitats and have to be moved to another place. Some of them are being held in civilization where they are given food, water, and a new home. Scientists are trying to save the tiger population from declining, but they are having a lot of problems. Together we can help the tigers return to the world and live free alone once again.
